Minor
|
Hi
Yes the quilt will be of our minor, hopefully about the size of a door. We are planning to make him in panels and sew him together. People will make as many panels as they want.
A couple of our reps will be donating fabric, as a shop we will donate fabric too, and R&A are going to give all the ladies a goody bag for joining in the work.
You may not hear from me for a couple of days, were at the NEC in Birmingham selling both Pfaff and Babylock machines. A good time to have a look at all the new and upcoming ideas.
We are always behind compared to Pfaff America, they always have the new products and I suppose that means they have the initial problems.

Brownhills Minor
|
Hi this is the Brownhills minor, we had a lot of jokes about him, it was said we should call him Morris ~ as in Morris minor a car make for anyone who doesn't know.
He also managed to have an England scarf when England was in the world cup.
The Brownhills minor has managed to be in the papers almost weekly.
The shop that I work in is going to make a quilt to hang in the local library, were going to envolve the whole community, and a booklet will be produced that will name all the people who helped work on the quilt.

Bag
|
Hi,
Firstly I'm from Brownhills, Walsall, near Birmingham. Its an old mining town and we recently had a statue erected in honor of all the miners, I will post a photo shortly.
The blue bag is all pieced, with 1" sashings, the back of the bag has Green Squares where the Pink are and the same blue squares in the middle.
When I get chance I'll take a photo of the back of the bag.

Photo's Included
|
Mini Kimono - Hand beaded.
Cathedral Windows - Not yet finished
This is my Latest finished item it was made for a compertition in Popular Patchwork - There was no main requirement for the piece you could do any technique but the title was 'Charmed Im sure' Anything that would charm the judges.
Although I feel that I actually got a bit lost on the theme I had a really great time making it.
It's one of my wedding photo's my sister and I sharing a kiss, the wording around is made to look like a 'Scrap Book' and the other pictures are of my flowers and jewellery worn on the day. The complete background is beaded to look like confetti. Please comment.
