Monday, October 22, 2007 - AND SHE SHALL BE KNOWN AS "LUCY"

I've decided to name my sewing machine "Lucy".  ('cuz I love her)

I don't know if you call this weather "Indian Summer" or not, but it's been heavenly.  I cut this beautiful pink rose from my front flower bed yesterday and brought it down to my studio to enjoy.  Roses are my favourite flower.  Pink is my favourite colour.  It gets better than this? uh, I think not.  I'm a happy girl.

I'm working on a secret project.  Prepare to be amazed.  And, if it doesn't work out the way I envision it - - well.....I can always use the edit feature of my blog manager, erase this statement, and you can pretend I never said it.

And I'm doing a little research.  I've had lots of positive feedback about "The Fastest Charity Quilt Top Ever".  If you make this quilt top, will you "time" yourself and post a comment to let me know how long it took you?  and a link to where I (and others) can see your finished top?  Thanks quilty friends!

Now Lucy just needs a few pretty pink rose stickers on her to dress her up.
I have a couple machines that just looked so darn plain, so now they are quite
cheerful looking with colorful stickers on them.
