Beth I just went of the site for Baltimore Blues and I didn't have any problems .They said on the news there is a virus going around that is capable of  hitting  your on line banking ,all they suggested  was to keep running you anri virus up date , this is one reason I run a router for a fire wall plus a antivirus .Maybe try again but first run Spybotand a virus scan .

Well as you can see I can once again download photo's it has to be something with Yahoo or this site .I have no problems on blogger at all or anyother site , I have to admit I do like blogger better and its so easy to use ..t=This is just a little note book I have been making for the senior home .

Ok I have almost had it with this site I still can't upload pictures ,there was someone else last week with the same problem .I know it's not on my end because I just uploaded picture to Serialquilters blog and blogger dashboard .I'll try again on Monday surely by that time it should be fixed .

Well christmas is over for another year  ,I took most of the decorations down now just waiting for hubby to put them away .Does anyone have plans for New Years ,we're not big on it ,but do like to go out and have a bite to eat maybe rent a movie or go to the show .Hubby ( Stan )got a new camera phone for xmas he's been running around taking pictures of everyone and everything , then he hands it to me and says but them on the computer OK I don't even own a phone LOL and he couldn't turn on the computer if his life depended on it .So I had to go get he cable and software and he is up and running I'm nasty he gets me to put them on ,then when he is finished and out of site I delete them ,now lets be serious how many pics of my tv or kitchen cupboards do I want to keep on my computer NONE .He's a sweet guy and the novilty will wear off soon I just like to keep him amused while I can .

One of my gifts was the wunder wallet pattern so I made by first one tonight it turned out nicely I'm not a big velcro fan besides I couldn't find it so I put those dome fasters on they worked really well .I think next time I will make the pockets a different color .We have a group here called The Children of Christmas Past I'v'e decided to make them my charity for 2008 There a group who gives donated gifts to all the old folks in nursing homes in the city ,who don't have family or friends to bring them a christmas gift .I think this would be something they could use to keep change in or to keep hearing aids ,I'd stick in a card for a coffee shop.I tried ,  even fits Stans cell  phone fits ,so now when he bothers me with it I can hid it in my wallet he never looks in there .

I finished my quilt top yesterday and decide I would clean up my sewing room and put all sewing a side till the New Year , well that lasted until the post man came .Cheryl MO Quilter sent a beautiful pattern and butterflies .I'm trying real hard not to get into it but I know I will ,I just have no will power when it comes to quilting . Thank You sooo much Cheryl .

Does anyone know why I can't post pictures on this blog this has just happened in the last two days ?Darn , and I wanted to show you my butterflies .

Its another one of them sleepless nights ,I really don't mind ,the snow is falling and everything looks so new and beautiful .the only bad part is I have errands to run tomorrow but they'll have to wait I don't drive in the snow .I did till I got in a bad car accident besides if I'm home I get more sewing done .The twelve blocks for the Sue bonnet are done , once I get it together I will need help deciding how to quilt it ,get you thinking caps on ladies LoL,We decide tonight we would put a tree up this weekend ,I really do love Christmas its just that is gotten so commercialized lately it turns me into a Grinch right before Christmas and having to do all the shopping myself doesn't help .Now thats almost  done I'm starting to feel more in the spirit .I may even get out my favorite Christmas CD ,Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers .Now am I showing my age or what LOL ?

Oh Nancy I made a ironing board cover last night after reading your blog I thought what better way to use up fabric .Thanks again for all your great idea's I put them dothings on that you see on kids coats to tighten the string it worked beautifully. 

Well this is what I have been working on lately ,there cute but seems to take for ever to get one done .

I was moving furniture yesterday and put a huge mark  in my hard wood floor I could have cried after seeing what I had done ,any attempt to fix it just made it worse .Hubby was very understanding but will not think about fixing it till the spring ,so a new rug is being delivered tomorrow .Darn I hate rugs but I can't leave it the way it is with company coming for Christmas .I could kick myself .

It's nice to see all the people posting ,I've tried a couple of different blogs but this is still my favorite ,welcome to all the newbie's .

Today was our last guild meeting and Christmas party ,because the guild has ended they spent a lot of money on gifts and all library books were given to our members  One book I got was Stained Glass Quilts I have been looking for it for some time and didn't even realize it was in the library ,I also got a large cutting board and a round bobbin holder .While the gifts were nice ,I will really miss some of the ladies there .There's 3 other guilds in the city but I think I will just take some time away from them all .

I 'm working on my Sue Bonnet blocks and a thread catcher for a friend ,right now thats enough to keep me busy till after Christmas . I also managed to deliver some baby charity quilts today ,its so much fun to watch the young moms go through them to pick a favorite ,its like watching a child open Christmas gifts .The hugs after make it all worth while . I'm very lucky because I volunteer there I get to interact with the girls ,I wish everyone who has done charity quilts could see how they light up when these quilts come through the door .They thank me but I am the one who feels blessed  .

look where is says New File I use My Pictures so thats the file that is there .If you save your pictures some where different click the little arrow to find the file name  .

Once you find you pictures highlight the one you want then click open

You will be back on the web log page now

click upload

you will see the name of the picture on the top of the list   click Post

another screen will come up where you will see the picture ,do some writing if you like and at the bottom click Post.

Why they make this so difficult is beyond me ,hope this helps

Hello ,is everyone snowed in LOL. I don't think I have ever seen this group so quiet .We got our first real snow fall last night ,now we are getting the ice .I haven't been out all day nor do I intend to LOL. I'm just not a cold weather kind of person .I have lots to keep me busy I'm working on my Sue Bonnet squares plus I need to get a few rice bags done .If I get real ambitious I could clean my sewing room ,this weather is suppose to last all week I may even get my christmas decorations up .I'm just undecided this year ,we always have a big tree  but since we are going to my daughters for christmas I may just put up the little one .Hope everyone is safe and warm ,I'm off to curl up with a good book and a warm quilt .

I finally got a me day or as Nancy calls it a PJ day .Got up and went to Curves lost two more pounds I don't really know how ,I have been eating chocolate bars like crazy ( and really didn't want to loose anymore weight ).I had seen this quilt at a quilt show I just thought it was so darn cute ,we don't have any little girls in the family ,well we do but she is 39 LOL , soon as my daughter seen it she asked if it could be for her ,ummm I will have to think about that one LOL .I wish now I had made the socks a little darker but I'll leave it ,I have lots more blocks to do ,I'll do better next time .I guess I really am a traditional quilter I just love these old patterns

Well another succesful trip to USA I brought back 4 Ott lights that were on sale ,my friends are going to love them when they get their gifts this year .The lights were on sale at Joanns for 29.00 they are 80.00 in Canada , The gas was also 2.00 cheaper per gallon then we are paying I found it kind of funny becase the Americans were complaining about their price ,when I told them how much our gas is they said that was ridiculas LOL sure it is but what can we do about it . Better yet we had no problems at the border I do feel sorry for the ones who got pulled in they said they have been waiing 2 hours outside standing in a line up just to get in the building to pay duty .We must have a honest face they just wave us through .

The sides bars are just placed on top of one another with the clamp to hold them together ,hope this is better a pic

As you can see there is two frames here ,one we are almost finished on ,the other we are just starting .The corners of the side bars are held together with a clamp .when we are finished for the day we just take the top off with the quilt still attached and stand it against the wall so there is no need to take up space if your not quilting .Hope this helps
