I was bored today can't work on my other projects until i going shop tomorrow, so got my Fq's out and started cutting strips following the yellow brick road than just put it together, the sq's look white but there not, the green holly and berries just don't show up

the other is green strips and red hearts.

Im in the process of sewing Doll Clothes for grandaughter for Christmas We Bought one of the Chou Chou Dolls for her

so of course she has to have clothes,so quilting is but away for awhile so I can get this done think I'll buy a doll truck so she can  keep her

new doll and clothes all in one place,,,good idea won't work but good idea :)

this is another quilt for one of my nieces for christmas, I appliqued around the purses and shoes but you really can't see it on this photo,,got to try out alot of my stitches on the sewing machine,,,this one I got out of quickquilt magazine went together really fast

hi everyone just wanted to say check in, showing a picture of all of us that went to Mexico we had a catered dinner in the penthouse for daughters and SIL 10th annv. my hubby is facing front Im next in pink on the left, than my daughter Laura her hubby JC than Mike and sister Janice than my cousins Bob and Mary  we had a great time it was super hot but we just relaxed, rested and ate alot of good food,

Well I won't be posting for awhile we're leaving tomorrow and won't be back until Oct 12th, going to Mexico with eight other people

Im so excited just going to relax and having fun with everyone eating alot thats part of vacation

Im so excited got the top for Bekka quilt done today, all cats like she wanted so now for chirstmas I have two done and one left to go, I course I have to finish them off but I feel like Im getting something done. Lynda

Well the first one is the SNW class i took yesterday, I have to say I love this pattern its so quick and easy can't wait to do another one

the bottom one is the BOM Chocolate,Fig and Roses that I just finished up,its compelety done, Lynda

Have been really busy lately trying to get things done plus babysitting for the grandaughter,I just finished my 12 days of christmas swap,working on the 3 nieces quilts

for christmas,waiting for the two quilts to be sent back that I having stippled,I'll post a picture when they return its the chocolate roses and figs BOM and Western

quilt I made my SIL.

Also just made up a dress for Elizabeth just a sample to try on before I really buy good material,want to make sure of the size.

other than that just cleaning and running,

these are the finished quilts that the daughter has on her bed, they sure look different when there made out

she' real happy with both of them and so am I, but it will be awhile before I make another one the size of the leaf it was almost a calif king.

Rhy finished her quilt today and she's so proud and Im proud of her, she did a wonderful job, all ready wanting to start another one.she did it all the cutting,sewing and putting it together, I have to do the layering for her but next time I'll teach her that.

This is Rhyanna Jean my niece she's 14 and decided she wanted to make a quilt for her 18 month old brother so yesterday she spent all day here cutting,sewing, I started her on a 12 inch nine patch pattern,thought that would be the easiest for her, she used the shape cut ,did everything herself,

its a mickey mouse with red,black ,yellow,blue, and of course mickey material, really colorful. she did great got all nine sq's done,tomorrow we're going to do the sashing than start putting them together when its done I'll take a picture of her holding the small quilt, (it will be a lap)

Just finished this up I need batting and backing, going to be a christmas present for my SIL, you can really tell but the light red have stars moon print, the black has white swirls, all is western,wish it showed up better,Lynda\(who needs a new camera)

just picked the quilt up today and am really happy with the way it turned out, Daughter will be thilled.its a queen size so couldn't show the whole quilt, for the binding, stippling and batting she only charged me 117.00 which I didn't think was to bad

This is one Iv been practing on, I still need to finish off the cats and some birds but ran out of thread, so more shopping (what a shame) than Im going to finish off with a couple borders.

I'll post a photo when Im done but Im making a birdhouse sence with applique and paperpiecing,strip sewing, I did learn

something new, wish I had know ahead of time,,,that I need a open toe foot for my sewing machine, I was using the

regular foot thinking I can't see where Im going so naturally I made mistakes, so Im ordering one when I get home so I can' applique the

correct way.

 Believe it or not there all 6 inch sqs the coffee pot looks bigger but it isn't must of been the way I was holding the camera

anyway its all pp which was fun to do, but now that I got it done Im wondering how should I put it together I have no idea, should I put border around ea sq and go from there , do three across or two down,,,,so if anyone has any suggestions Im open.

Wanted to add I have the basket quilt in getting stippled I'll post a picture when I get it back, my first queen size quilt Im really axious to see it all done.

The fair here in are small town is having a block challenge, you have to use there strawberry material and than your own fabric to match, everyone has to make up there own design, so this one is mine, going to submit it next week the fair is the first part of Aug.

it looks crooked in the photo but its the way its laying on the bed, sorry about that. I m pretty happy with the way it turned out. Lynda
