This is the first book for the Thimbleberries Hometown Christmas quilt.  I got the kit as a Christmas gift.  It is a series of 4 books to make the parts for the quilt.  I'll get started on book 2 as soon as I get my March BOM's caught up. ;)

I just flipped up the calendar for March.  Oh my...where is the year going?  I've not done near as much sewing this year as I'd like.  And I need to keep better track of my blog.  I'm going to try to check on it the beginning of every month and post a pic of a project I'm working on.  ...wish me luck! :)    lil' pest

Wow!  11 days into 2006 already!

I keep meaning to get back here and update things, but seems there is always something else grabbing my attention.

I am really pleased with the small floral wallhanging that MaryKS taught me how to make.  I hope to make a few more as gifts, but haven't shopped for flowers yet. (pic)

I plan to do BC's BOM this year and work on my many UFO's.  Presently I'm putting together JoAnn's Mystic Blues quilt from 2005.  I hadn't planned to do it until I walked into the store one day and found all the kits 70% off!   What a deal!!!  I am sewing it on my treadle machine, its a great way to relax between other projects. 

Guess that's it for today.  Hopefully I'll get back here more often!

Thank you for your wonderful comments on my quilt.  :)  It is a happy quilt.  My Mom hand quilted it for me with butterflies around each of the blocks.

I didn't get my BOM finished today.  But, I tried resizing a photo of a quilt I did to see if I can get them small enough to post....let's see if this works! :)

Welcome to my weblog.  :)  I hope to put some pictures on here as soon as I figure out how to make them smaller.  I've managed to take the pictures and get them on the computer, so...  hopefully they will be here soon!  In the mean time, I am anxiously awaiting the final installment to Block Central's BOM...  Have a great day!  I'll be back soon.
