We've got the tree up and most of the other decorations.  My favorite is the Mantle Santas.  I'll try to upload a pic.

I got most of the decorating done for Christmas.  I love all the santas we've collected over the years.  They are overrunning the mantle. Now to get the shopping done

Its late in the day and I've got all the mess cleaned  up. Enough leftovers  for 2 days. The boys have all gone of to shoot poor helpless little deer.  I'm hoping the y don't get any/ THat means I get to sew and start the decorating for christmas. Chris and Marianne will be in for that holiday. Yeah I'm off to get busy .

I'm finally getting the knack of workking with the repo fabrics.  I started using lighter colors.  Its helped tremendously. I have to work the next 3 nights, so I won't get to sew much, if any at all. Things are kind of stressful there these days.  We had some changes in the philosophy of management That are causing alot of ill will.  I suppose its because as a nurse, providing patient care, I see my maintain responsibility to provide the best care for my patients that I can. Oh. well, I must work for money to buy fabric. I got to talk with my sister today.  She has some health problems. but they are improving. I went to a baby shower Yesterday, It is so strange to see my sons'  friends having children.  I guess I still think of them as kids.  They grow up so fast and of course, My sons aren't providing me with any grandchildren yet. The pets have been entertaining this morning.  I'll see CeCe (9 y/o cat) zip thru the house followed by bitty kitty (3 y/o cat) followed by Flash(the wonderdog).  I feel for CeCe.  He is so abused by the younger generation. I'll find them with Ce on top of something, bitty kitty waiting to pounce and flash sitting back wagging his tale, waiting for some action to howl about. Oh well, Off to nap before work.

I've just had another Friday. It seems that every friday I have to run all day.  It starts out simple and gets all complicated. I end up running around for errands all day.  If I don't have enough of my own, my husband comes up with a few more. I didn't get to sew at all today.  I did sneak in a trip to the Traveling Quilter. I got some more 30's repo fabric.  I also got some muslin to use in the GNB.  I think it will help. I think I'll sneak in some sewing before I go to bed.  My husband is OOT, so I don't have to worry about keeping anyone up.

Hello, Im kathleen or kat.  I've been messing around with some fabrics trying to get my good neighbor blocks done.  I'm just not happy with the way they are turning out.  Too busy, i think. Well off to try some more
