I wish I could say I got all of the name badges done.. however I ran into more finish work on the embellishing than I had first intended.  Thanks Michelle for the encouragement... yes, the colors are fun to work with.. and the paper doll image is intended to be the back view of the red hatter.. the red button being the hat crown.  I wasn't happy with the size of the buttons available to me so I found some inexpensive silk flowers and pulled them apart to use behind the button to give it more of a hat look.  Had to make a run to the fabric store for the clear vinyl that will actually hold the name badge (on the reverse side)... Here's a finished look
   

Now just 23 to go....

Did get all of the paper piecing done today, and the fabrics are all cut and ready for assembly. !!

Took a break mid-day and got the prewashing and pressing done for the next two quilt projects which will be classes for the upcoming season.  I'll hold all that off for a future blog... Check back.. for more fun.. and memories! - grannab
