Here's what I did to Danielle's quilt top.  I added a 3" crazy pieced border all around .  It is supposed to look like sky and ground.  Then I fused the words on top of my border and the previous one.  I think it looks great.  I can't wait to see it when it is done.  BTW Danielle drives a tank for the Canadian Army.

The wedding quilt was shipped off to Canada and has made it safely.  One of the other girls on the internet group agreed to give it to her in person, so now Susan has to wait until Monday after work to see the surprise.  I know she will like it, because of the thought, and knowing the amount of time that goes into a project like that, but I worry that she will not like the job I did on it.  It is such a big responsibility to quilt for someone.

This is one of the current projects I am working on.  It is an internet round robin - mini style.  The center is 6" and no border is larger than 3".  Danielle drives a tank (that is the center) and I am having to really think hard on what to do for this one.

Here's a bad picture of me, but a fairly good shot of this quilt.  It is a surprise gift for an online friend who got married in January.  We found out after the fact that she was married, and have managed to get the blocks made into a quilt.  Now, I just have to finish it so I can get it off to her!  I hope to finish it this weekend.  I have a ton of running to do on Saturday.  Kids going every which way,  band solo, t-ball, soccer, band audition.  Lot's of time to sew the binding down if'n I can just get the darn thing to that point!  Guess I'll have to work on it tonight and tommorrow night after work!

So, I suppose this is the time to make a great first impression with my fellow quilt bloggers, but at times like this I can never find the right words to say.  Since no one really wants to hear what I have to say anyway, I'll show you a picture instead.  A photo of a quilt is worth a thousand words. 

This was made by myself and friends at my church as a fundraiser.  It was made to celebrate our town's Sesquicentenial.
