Quilting is a method of sewing or tying two layers of cloth with a layer of insulating batting in between. A bed covering or similar large rectangular piece of quilting work is called a quilt. A quilt does not have to be rectangular, however. Many quilts hang on the wall as art quilts and are all kinds of shapes and sizes.

About Me
I live in central Texas, Heart'O'Texas, 30 miles east of Waco, west of Corsicana, South of Hillsboro, and North of Mexia. Beautiful Downtown Hubbard City. I am married, going on 31 years, I am an Elvis fan, I love the Chicago Cubs, (go Cubbies!!) and of course the DALLAS COWBOYS!!, I also support the Mighty Hubbard High School Fighting Jaguars, GO BIG JAGS!!!! I am a former HHS Jaguarette, and editor of the Newsletter for the drill team (Once A Jaguarette...Always A Jaguarette). I work as administrative assistant to the Division Director of the Math.Science.HPE dept of the Mclennan Community College, we have one baby boy, black and white Jack Russell Terrier named JoeJoe, and Quilting is my passion, unfortunately, it is also only a hobbie too, till I get rich. Till then, I love my hobbie!!! And continue to enjoy piecing, and quilting till my heart's content. That's why my blog is named what it is, I have a dream of an amazing technicolor creation, that is only now a dream, and hopefully one day a reality. I also enjoy crocheting, and I am teaching myself to knit.
